What Notaspark does
Notaspark manages Google Business Profiles on behalf of restaurant clients. A restaurant owner grants Notaspark manager-level access to their own Business Profile through Google’s standard user management. Notaspark works only within the access that owner has granted.
For each client, Notaspark consolidates reviews across the locations it manages, drafts replies for the owner’s review, and produces a monthly performance report. The service is operated from New York, and its first client location is in São Paulo, Brazil.
Every reply is approved by a person
Notaspark drafts replies to reviews, but a person writes or approves every reply before it is posted. No reply is published automatically. There is no end-to-end automated path from a customer’s review to a posted response.
What data Notaspark accesses, and why
Notaspark accesses data through the Google Business Profile API only for restaurants that have explicitly granted it manager-level access to their profile.
- Reviews
- Review text, ratings, and dates, so they can be read in one place across a client’s locations and replied to.
- Location details
- Business name, address, hours, and category for each managed location, so listings stay accurate and reviews are attributed to the right restaurant.
- Performance metrics
- Google’s profile performance data, such as how customers found and interacted with the listing, used to produce the owner’s monthly report.
This data is used only to deliver the service to the restaurant it belongs to. It is never sold, and it is not shared with third parties. An owner can revoke Notaspark’s access at any time from their own Google Business Profile settings. Full details are in the privacy policy.
NFC cards
Notaspark places NFC cards on restaurant tables. Tapping a card opens a short link on this domain, which forwards the customer to that restaurant’s own Google review page. The card asks for no personal information and sets no cookies. What a tap records, and how to request its deletion, is described in the privacy policy.
